On February 26, RUE Beltelecom and the Belarusian eSports Federation signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by Deputy Director General for Digital Development and Information Technology of Beltelecom Sergey Buinitskiy and Chairman of the eSports Federation Denis Bogush. This event became a logical continuation of many years of fruitful cooperation, which has now acquired not only a new format, but also new prospects.

"The interaction between Beltelecom and the eSports Federation is developing dynamically, and today we have given a new impetus to our joint work," – said Sergey Buinitskiy, Deputy Director General for Digital Development and Information Technology of RUE Beltelecom. "This is an expected step, because we have many common projects with the eSports Federation, which are becoming increasingly large-scale and interesting. I am sure that this is just the beginning!"

Beltelecom supports the eSports direction. With the assistance of the Federation, four Beltelecom eSports Cup tournaments were held among the company's employees, and in December last year, the first eSports tournament "Beltelecom Challenge Cup" was held, which united nine teams of the communications industry.

The memorandum opens up broad opportunities for the development of eSports and modern information technologies in our country. The key area of business cooperation, primarily, will be the development of a powerful infrastructure for eSports.

"High-quality infrastructure is the most important factor for eSports. A project to provide high-speed Internet access to computer clubs that are members of the Belarusian eSports Federation has been launched together with Beltelecom. Reliable, stable Internet is the basis for successful training and high results in tournaments," - emphasized Chairman of the eSports Federation Denis Bogush.

Denis Bogush also reminded that in 2021, Beltelecom for the first time provided Internet at a speed of 500 Mbps for the capital's eSports arena "Meta Arena", the largest venue for games and eSports events.

Another vector of cooperation is the implementation of an exclusive line of Meta computers at the Beltelecom.Shop network, which will make gaming technologies even more accessible to Belarusian eSportsmen and all fans of computer games. In addition, the partnership will also develop in the media format.

Together with the "YASNAe TV" channel, work will continue on the information and entertainment program "Yasna about eSports". This project popularizes eSports in the country, talks about the achievements of Belarusian eSportsmen and covers current events in the industry.

The partners' plans include further development and promotion of eSports in Belarus as a full-fledged sports ecosystem.
