25 new cities appeared on the My City platform in 2024. Such a high result was achieved thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization, RUE Beltelecom and city administrations.
The year ended with the connection of the city of Kopyl, which became the 68th Belarusian settlement to digitize its services. Beltelecom made a real New Year's gift to local residents - the mobile application became available on the last day of December.
"My City" is not just an electronic catalog, but a practical tool that makes citizens' lives easier and more comfortable. The key advantage of the resource is the ability to directly interact. Making an appointment with a manager, purchasing goods and ordering services, booking tickets and much more - all this is available through the convenient interface of the application. Each city has its own version of the application with unique data. Thus, the entire infrastructure is at hand, you just need to install the application on your smartphone.
The pilot project, which started in 2021 in Polotsk, has proven its effectiveness. During the first year, five more cities appeared on the platform: Orsha, Glubokoe, Baranovichi, Braslav and Pinsk. Today, the application is available in 68 cities, including two regional centers - Mogilev and Vitebsk. The leader is the Vitebsk region, all of whose cities are represented on the platform.
Polotsk still leads in terms of downloads – more than 22 thousand users, and the total number of installations exceeded 131 thousand, with more than 1 million 30 thousand views.
In 2024, the most popular services were those of schools, kindergartens, sports facilities, business and trade, and tourism services. Interest in industrial and agricultural products increased.
The application is constantly evolving: in 2023–2024, the following sections were added: “Cornflower Land” – a guide to the sights of Belarus, “Vacancies”, grouping by regions was implemented, new categories appeared: farmsteads, tutoring services, photo and video services, etc.
"Digital Navigator" has become a real assistant for city residents and visitors. For example, "My City" will help tourists who are planning to visit a city for the first time to plan a route, get to know iconic places, book a hotel, order tickets, etc.
On December 1, 2024, the YASNAe TV channel premiered: the first episode of the travel blog "My City" with Marina Gritsuk was aired. The famous TV presenter travels around Belarus, revealing the most interesting corners and locations of Belarus to viewers. And the mobile application "My City" helps her navigate new cities.
The program broadcasting on YASNAe TV once every two weeks, on Sundays at 21:00. All episodes are available on the official YouTube channel of RUE Beltelecom and the RUTUBE channel YASNAe TV.
The application is available for free download in the App Store and Google Play.
